Today I went to see mom, the nursing home moved her to another room mostly because the room she was in was being cleaned. It was a strange feeling when I went into her room and found her bed empty; I immediately looked in the bathroom. The feeling was "she's up", short lived.
When I found her, her eye were open and has a twitch on her right side. It is like an epileptic effect, normal for PVS.
I started talking with her telling her how things are at the house, how I am having to cook, and that I have to keep the house clean. (Her favorite pastimes)
I grabbed her right hand and began to massage it; I need to keep her fingers from stiffing and then her hand moved. It felt like a reaction. I asked her to move it again but then I felt a rhythm.
I guess the whole issue is that there are signs of recovery, even slight recovery.
Fui hoy a ver a mami, y en la clínica donde esta, la movieron a otro cuarto sobre todo porque el cuarto donde estaba lo estaban limpiando. Era una sensación extraña cuando entré y encontré su cama vacía; Mire inmediatamente en el cuarto de baño. La sensación era "ella se levanto", era de breve duración el sentido.
Cuando la encontré, los ojos de ella estaban abiertos y ella tiene una contracción nerviosa en su lado izquierdo. Es como un efecto epiléptico, normal para persona de PVS.

Comencé a darle masajes a su mano derecha; Necesito asegurar guardar sus dedos no se tiezen y luego su mano empezó a moverse. Se sentía como una reacción. Le pregunté a ella que moviera otra vez la mano pero entonces sentía un ritmo. Pienso que hay muestras de recuperación, aunque recuperación leve.
